Hope4Cancer: Day Fourteen: We are Eternal Beings
So, after all of my 200 therapies, all the connections, and mind and body healing, I met with Dr. Mel to see how the treatment had impacted my health. The good news is I was diagnosed as NED, which means “No Evidence of Disease.” Praise God!
My blood pressure came down, my triglycerides and cholesterol both came down, and my vitamin D went up. Interestingly, people were either gaining weight because they had been so thin from raw food diets or had weight to lose, but my body seemed to be in homeostasis, and my weight stayed the same. That was a plus, especially since we were in an all-inclusive hotel.
Once I returned to the USA, they recommended I follow up on a few aspects of my health. I had a small growth on an incision on my right breast, and needed to see my surgical oncologist for treatment. They also wanted me to be treated right away by a biological dentist to remove amalgam from my teeth that could cause toxicity in my body. They discussed taking extra steps for my immune system to support my overall health. And then, I was to follow up with my functional doctor for my hormones. They also had a list of recommended supplements, some of which I’d already started—to decrease inflammation and kill any remaining cancer cells.
And again, I think one of the most significant changes I’ll have is following a conservative regimen: continuing with no alcohol, no gluten, no dairy, and no processed grains. Plus, I have some home therapies to work into my daily routines, so cancer isn’t my story. It’s just a disease that needs healing, and I am choosing to create a healing system that will become second nature—no different than brushing my teeth.
I’m praising God that I will have a forced hour-and-a-half to 2-hour session every morning and an hour at night to be quiet. To go on the journey back to that beach, to be in my love nest, to be revisiting and experiencing the love that I have been receiving worldwide in the clinic from my family, from my husband, so that I can carry this goodness and love and expand it to all those who are in my presence, and who are also spiritually connected.
I fall into a state of prayer as I reflect on us as eternal, spiritual souls having a physical experience. And moving forward, I want to choose all my days to be in love. That’s what I learned from my final review with Dr. Mel.
