…perceptive and intuitive – a “way shower.”

Rochelle Forrest Hankins was nominated in 2019 and 2020 for the Community Health Systems Nurse of the Year award because of her community leadership.
Rochelle received a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Indiana University (1984) and a Master’s in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University (1993). Since 1984, Rochelle has held a variety of consulting and leadership roles in the Indianapolis nursing community, joining Encore Health Network in November, 2004, as Senior Sales Executive.
“Community” is key to Rochelle’s holistic vision and has inspired her to purposefully be active in multiple community health initiatives. She has the unique ability to combine a 10,000 foot view of a problem but see solutions at the ground level. With great success, she has served as a consultant to employers, third-party administrators, and brokers to create systems that streamline healthcare costs of Indiana employers while reducing fees for the individual.
Rochelle is a continuous learner of new strategies and systems intended to create a healthier Indiana and has studied abroad, attending Business School for Global Entrepreneurs—Malaysia (2012), Cancun (2018), and Thailand (2019).
Being a strong community advocate spills over into Rochelle’s private life, as she tirelessly refines her talents as speaker, author, transformational coach, TV Show Host, founder of the non-profit Tummies, Minds, and Spirits—for promoting global education for children—and producer of a new children’s TV channel BugHub.
